Bangladesh Youth Internet Governance Forum 2026
Since its establishment in 2021, Bangladesh Youth Internet Governance Forum (BYIGF) is an initiative under the umbrella of Bangladesh Internet Governance Forum (BIGF) in conjunction with the United Nations Internet Governance Forum (UNIGF). It is a multi- stakeholder, strengthen youth engagement IG processes, youth and youth women-led platform to engage in Internet governance-related issues.
The Vision of Youth IGF Bangladesh is to encourage our youth to contribute to national, regional and international Internet Governance and be part of the movement which is helping to increase youth participation in the Internet ecosystem.
This important national event is scheduled to be held from 16 to 17 October 2026 under the overarching theme: “Governing the Internet in the Age of Intelligence: Our Shared Responsibility.”
As in previous years, we are pleased to inform you that the Bangladesh Youth Internet Governance Forum, in collaboration with the Internet Governance Forum Support Association (IGFSA), is planning to organize the Annual Bangladesh Youth Internet Governance Forum Conference.

Mr. Ashikur Rahman Shunno
Coordinator
Ashikur Rahman Shunno is a Graphic and Web Designer specializing in
visual communication, branding, and digital media. He holds a Bachelor
of Science in Physics from the National University, Bangladesh, and is
currently pursuing a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence and
Machine Learning. Passionate about Internet governance, digital
inclusion, Universal Acceptance, and meaningful youth engagement, he
has been actively involved with the Bangladesh Internet Governance
Forum (BIGF) and the Bangladesh Youth IGF Technical Committee since
2022. He is a Bangladesh School of Internet Governance (bdSIG) Fellow
(2023), a NetMission Ambassador (2024), and a member of the Asia
Pacific Youth IGF Organizing Committee and APrIGF Multi-Stakeholder Group (MSG).
Riad Hasan Badsha
Co- Coordinator
Riad Hasan Badsha holds a Diploma in Computer Science and currently
works in the Information Technology Department of NTV, Bangladesh.
He is a Network Engineer specializing in enterprise networking, Internet
infrastructure, and digital connectivity. He is passionate about Internet
governance, affordable Internet access, and trustworthy artificial
intelligence (AI). Since 2018, he has been actively involved with the
Bangladesh Internet Governance Forum (BIGF) and has contributed to
the Bangladesh Youth IGF since 2022. His regional engagements include
serving as a Bangladesh School of Internet Governance (bdSIG) Fellow,
NetMission Academy Ambassador, APrIGF Drafting Committee
Member, Asia Pacific Policy Observatory (APPO) member, APrIGF Multi-Stakeholder Group (MSG)
member and an active member of the Internet Society Bangladesh Chapter.
Ms. Ayesha Siddika
Co- Coordinator
Ayesha Siddika is a Trainee Data Analyst at Save the Children
and holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and
Engineering from Daffodil International University. She is
passionate about Internet governance, digital inclusion, and
leveraging data for evidence-based policymaking and social
impact. As a Bangladesh School of Internet Governance
(bdSIG) Fellow (2021) and NetMission Academy Fellow (2022),
she has actively supported initiatives advancing digital rights,
multilingual Internet access, and meaningful youth
participation. She has also served as a bdSIG Organizer, Bangladesh Internet Governance Forum
(BIGF) Volunteer, and Event Coordinator for Universal Acceptance Day 2025. Since 2022, she has
been actively involved with the Bangladesh Youth IGF. Her interests include promoting an open,
inclusive, accessible, and resilient Internet through multistakeholder collaboration and data-driven
innovation.
